1. I sometimes get too emotionally invested in something, and I can have a short fuse in certain situations.
2. I’m loyal to all my friends and treat them with the utmost respect. I’m a pretty good graphic designer and I’m pretty good at drawing too.
3. The last thing I watched was the Real World – Road Rules Challenge: The Duel II. I know, I know. I’m a reality television junkie.
4. My dreams are redonkulous. Sometimes they’re in the 3rd persons and they’re animated. Like when animation in anime was at it’s peak back in like. 1999 and 2000. Sometimes they’re a little TOO vivid and real. Other times it feels like someone is channel surfing in my brain.
5. I’m OCD with certain things. My room is a HOT MESS but my Video Games are alphabetized and arranged by which system came out first and my comics are organized by publishing company and alphabetically.
6. The last film I saw was Watchmen. I won’t go into details about it though. It could turn into an essay. Hahaha!
7. If I could live anywhere, Domestically, I’d like to live in San Diego, California, Internationally. Tokyo, Japan or somewhere outside of Tokyo, DEFINITELY!
8. If I became a Multi-Millionaire overnight, I would make sure my family was comfortable financially; send my mother on a vacation to wherever she wanted to go because lord knows she needs it. Then I’d get an amazing house somewhere and live happily ever after! Hahaha.
9. Hmm, something that most people don’t know about me…OH! Yeah, I’ve always secretly wanted to draw a western comic. Like with cowboys and all that jazz.
10. If I could change one thing it would be to live in a non-judgmental world.

1. What are your weaknesses? I’m not physically strong and I
don’t push myself. As far as personality, I’m shy to the point of
coming off very cold. Most people have a hard time warming to me.
Also, I’m a horrible procrastinator and tend towards being lazy but I
never half-ass anything.
2. What are your strengths? I’m at times funny, or at least I do
have a sense of humor, and I retain useless information like nobody’s
business. I can be articulate at times as well.
3. What is the last thing you watched on TV? 30 Rock
4. What are your dreams like? Two nights ago I dreamt that I was
gathering unusual items for some kind of Biblical Easter display. I
got the last item just before my alarm rang. Last night, I dreamt
that I was at war and on cannon crew. It was terrifying and Gary
Oldham was my leader who ended up dying in the end. I saw an arc of
blood spray from his intestines, gross! Then I was walking through a
house which had brick arch foundations that were failing. I met a man
I’d never seen before…and gave him “the business.” My dreams are very
vivid. I dream very often about tornados, but in a “man, there is one
right in front of me and I don’t have a camera to document this” kind
of way.
5. Are you organized or cluttered? To the outside world, I’m very
much a cluttered person, but I have an intricate organization system
in my brain. If I do suffer from clutter, I’m at least clean about
it. And I just cleaned my apartment so every so often I am able to
emerge from the junk.
6. What is the last film you saw? Terry Gilliam’s Brazil –
amazing!
7. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?
I have extreme wanderlust and I want to live as many places as I can,
if only for just a few months.
8. If you became a multi-millionaire overnight, what would you
do? Pay off my student loans, buy a house for my parents, and buy some
pre-War condo in NYC just to do it; continue to work but take several
month-long vacations.
9. Tell me something about you that most people don't know. I
listen to music constantly to block out my inner voice which self-
narrates. The inside my head sounds like a poorly-written Michael
Chabon knock-off.
10. If you could change one thing about the world, regardless of
guilt
or politics, what would you do? I guess just up everybody’s tolerance
level. That would probably solve quite a few problems.
11. Do you like to dance? I’m terrible at it (think Elaine from
Seinfeld) but I do it anyway with or without a few drinks in me.

I’ve been getting a rising urge to hot air balloon as well.

plants that are thriving though.

be? Assuming I could be in the presence of someone great and still
have enough of my wits to be able to swallow – a nice soup with Steve
Martin is sounding pretty perfect right about now. But only if we
could both forget about Pink Panthers and Cheaper By the Dozens. Maybe
he could pull out the old banjo (or ukulele) and we would end the
lunch singing “Tonight You Belong To Me.” Sigh. Happy thought.

honestly couldn’t say.
20. What time is bed time? 11:30. I’m tending toward 6 hours of
sleep a night right now. Sometimes 1:30 when I’m in a period of less
sleep.

keister sticking out of his pants walking around Forsyth.
22. Do you think that tattoos are attractive? How many do you
have? Not particularly, especially when they are cliché like “tribal”
or a Chinese symbol when one is not Asian nor has any understanding of
the Chinese language or culture.
23. Is the glass half empty or half full? On average, I keep
liquids at a halfway point anyway so half full is full. Whatever that
means metaphorically in my life.
24. When's the last time you ate a homegrown tomato? A few
weekends ago from my friend’s grandfather’s garden.

26. Are you a good cook? I’ve got staples I do well, I’m just
getting interested in cooking.

three. He was brilliant so that’s reason enough to converse, but he

Flea Market tomorrow to seek out a booth of old photographs and all
the other joys to behold there. I’ve been told that I’ll get a corn
dog and funnel cake if I’m a good girl. I hadn’t had a corn dog in
over 18 years until New Years this year.
35. How are you feeling right now? I’m a little sneezy and sore
from work, but otherwise all good. Don’t want to go to work but it’s
nearly the weekend.
36. What do you think about the most? I’m just getting over a long-
stint of getting over my ex-boyfriend. Now my mind usually replays
episodes of the Simpsons and a long string of random thought. I’ve
decided to start writing down my favorite two-or-three thoughts in a
day so that I have something to keep me happy at my worst. So far
today: International Klein Blue.
37. What time do you get up in the morning? 5:30-ish.
38. What do you do most when you are bored? Eat, it’s a bad
habit. Or go for a walk with a camera and my cell phone and call
people at random in my phonebook.
39. What do you do for a living? Historic Preservation.
40. Do you love your job? Absolutely, aside from the bs that Is in
any job. Plus, I’m getting sick of the daily exposure to toxins.
41. What did you want to be when you grew up? Do you still want
to? Preservationist or a meteorologist. Yes to both.

43. If you could go anywhere on vacation where would you go?
Anywhere that isn’t mid-western and cold.
44. Where did you grow up? Small town in Western New York,
southeast of Buffalo. The specific region is known as the “Enchanted
Mountains,” which always came off a little lame to me. Though the
area is thought to be enchanted (there’s some crazy occurrence known
as witch lights and a Victorian-era spiritualist community), the
mountains are more like overgrown hills – we are the northern
foothills of the Appalachians I believe.
45. How far away from your birthplace do you live now? Several
countries and the Atlantic Ocean away.
46. Are you a morning person or a night owl? Both actually. I was
always the last one asleep and first one up at sleepovers. I watched
a lot of Nick at Nite. As I write this, I went to bed at 2am and got
up at 5:30am. Wooh to purple bags under my eyes!
47. What is your best childhood memory? Too many to pick from -
but they’re almost all outdoors.
48. What are some of the different jobs that you have had in your
life? Museum guard, Hostess at a guest house for lecturers and
musicians, Docent, Preservation Mason, Preservation Technician,
Documentation Specialist, Assistant.
49. Any new and exciting things that you would like to share? I
just used my entire Georgia refund to purchase supplies for oil
painting.
50. What Inspires You? I draw inspiration anywhere I can; what
actually gets me doing is seeing other people’s get-up-and-go.
51. One of your scars, describe how you got it. I have a crescent
in the upper inside of my left arm from a friend cutting the sleeves
off of my tee-shirt. In that same trip I also sustained a long,
barely noticeable scar just below the elbow on same arm from mud
sliding into some gravel.

53. What do you miss? Buffalo’s architecture.
54. Any bad habits? I bite my nails, chew my cuticles, am often
too distracted to carry on full conversations, and don’t make eye
contact.

2. What are your strengths? Writing crack/comedy fiction, drawing,
voice-acting, speaking Italian, French, German, and some Japanese and
Spanish

4. What are your dreams like? They always take place in a public/
community setting where I feel like I belong to a tight-knit group of
people.
5. Are you organized or cluttered? Organized clutter.
6. What is the last film you saw? Monsters Vs. Aliens
7. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live? If
I had the choice, I’d want to have houses in Italy, Hawaii,
California, and Vienna, Austria. But if I had to pick just one place,
I’d have to say a European city… probably Vienna, Austria.
8. If you became a multi-millionaire overnight, what would you do?
I’d put it in the bank and think very carefully about what I should do
with it. I’d give some to my friends who need it, and donate some to
honest charities. I’d buy myself a sweet house. Then I’d keep the
rest just as a safety net in case this whole “making comics for a
living” thing doesn’t pan out.

toes are asymmetrical. I had a surgery on one of them and now they
don’t match.

fairly repulsive.

with both water and air, which are both equally necessary for us to
live. Although air is more immediately necessary, it is also the most
readily discounted.

remember, but I’m pretty sure it was back in California or Italy.
25. Have you ever won a trophy? I’m pretty sure I’ve won at least
one, but I had to share it with my swim team. I also have won several
swimming medals.

be an assistant.

question for me to pick just one, but the first one that came to mind

29. What's under your bed? A lot of folded up boxes and suitcases,
along with a lot of other dusty crap I’m not using.
30. Do you believe in love at first sight? No. But lust at first
sight, sure.

Powerpuff Girls, Bubble tea, travel, a soft bed.

two turtles once before when I was 4, but they didn’t have names… I

where my peeps are. Strangely this changes a lot. But if I had to go
by location only, I’d have to say Europe. And if I must be more
specific, Positano, Italy. It was always a magical place for me as a
child, and even now I can’t think of a more nostalgic place. Thinking
about how it is probably overrun with tourism these days makes me want
to cry.
34. Is there anything going on this weekend? Yeah, I’m going to work
my butt off, and hopefully joining in the Sequalab comics podcast.
35. How are you feeling right now? A bit tired and overwhelmed with
projects.
36. What do you think about the most? Where I’ll be in a month, a
year, and the next 5 years.

still have a lot of other talents (voice acting, for one!) that I

43. If you could go anywhere on vacation where would you go? Right
now, I’d love to go to Japan. I have never been, and it sounds
amazing. Not to mention it would be amazing reference for my cute and
creepy colorful comics.

although I love waking up early to smell that morning air, especially

vacations with my family to my highschool graduation. However, the
happiest joy I can remember is screaming crazily with my little
brother after we defeated the Elite Four in Pokemon.

life? None I got paid for, but my most recent was volunteering at the
Belgian Comic Strip Center.

about to graduate from college! Holy shit.
50. What Inspires You? Music, conversations with my friends, and
browsing interesting sites on the internet. Most recently, a website
called www.tvtropes.com has really helped me with some storytelling
ideas to use and avoid.
51. One of your scars, describe how you got it. I have scar on my
forearm shaped like a tiny crescent moon. I got it when a summer camp
teacher dug her nail into my arm by accident during a game of capture
the flag.

1. What are your weaknesses? I can be a jealous prick, I’m vindictive,
I hold grudges for far too long, and I whittle away at what my future
might be to the point that I’m paralyzed with fear.
2. What are your strengths? I am fiercely loyal to friends and family,
and I draw fairly well.
3. What is the last thing you watched on TV? If you mean it was on a
tv, then probably the X-Files. No cable.
4. What are your dreams like? Strange and incredibly vivid. For some
reason the bulk of them involve alien beings.
5. Are you organized or cluttered? Bit of both. My private space is
cluttered, but I respect the need for cleanliness in common areas.
6. What is the last film you saw? Running with Scissors. Was watching
it this morning, actually.
7. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live? All
of my other worries about living abroad aside, Taiwan, Sweden,
Thailand, South Korea… the list goes on and on…
8. If you became a multi-millionaire overnight, what would you do? Get
all of my family members out of debt, have my mother’s current house
razed to the ground and build her a new one. Find a bit of land
somewhere and build my own tiny house, and then go to school until I

born male, and I can juggle.

or politics, what would you do? I really don’t know. I’m not cold
hearted enough to think eugenics is a good idea, but I can see that

with enough snow to ski on. I’m easily pleased, from Texas, and have

is actually New York, and that is around fourteen to fifteen hundred
miles north of here.

goes from the top of my chest down to the end of my ribs. I have open-
heart surgery when I was 18 mo old. The congenital heart condition I
had is called Tetralogy of Fallot with a Sub-pulmonary VSD
(Ventricular Septum Defect). I pride myself on being about to tell you
what it is exactly called.

hunters... I wasn't the one watching it. I am much to enamored with

controlling over money and things of that sort. But I tend to be a bit

Build a house, turn an element into my own personal VW bus, electric
drive and build a cabin out of shipping containers and concrete. Then
I'll travel the world, it'll be sweet.

or politics, what would you do? Get rid of about 2/3 the population.
Give people a life expectancy that correlates with how much they help

51.One of your scars, describe how you got it. I was climbing a tree
outside of my nanny's yard when I was 5. I fell from it and my arm
slid down the side of the twisty barb things on the top part of the
chain link fence underneath it. The scar runs down my left arm near my
elbow.
